Description: Located beside the famous bridge in Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong, Royal View Hotel offers you a stunning view from their rooms. 30 minutes journey from Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) by taxi or 20 minutes from Tsim Sha Tsui means Royal View Hotel isn’t far from the most prestigious place in Hong Kong. And also this hotel isn’t far from some of popular destination in Hong Kong such as Disneyland, Peak Tower, Asia Expo, Noah Ark’s and more.
Check-in staff was extremely friendly and also can speak English clearly. The lobby was quietly small, but the interiors were good enough. Decorated with a modern Chinese art with a gloomy lamp hanging on the ceiling makes me feel like in Mainland China. You can surf the Internet trough Wi-Fi or the computer they provide you with a charge, costly HKD 20 per hour. It surprising me because on their website it’s written that we can surf the Internet for free. Maybe the administrator doesn't update it.
I booked the Double room with 1 extra bed without breakfast (I don’t like Hotel breakfast, most of them only serve International food, huh). The room is not too small as people said, equipped with small kitchen, plasma TV and mini bar. The TV itself isn't good enough because most of channels are only available in Cantonese/Mandarin (but it was fun when I watched power puff girls in Cantonese, these powergirls speaks like in Chinese opera). The bathroom only has shower, closet and mini make up desk. If you want to use bathtub, you can go to sport center on second floor to use the Jacuzzi, cold bath and swimming pool for free. And also you can find fitness center beside that. Unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed when I was there.
The good one, they have a shuttle bus from Royal View hotel to Tsuen Wan MTR station and Tsim Sha Tsui for free. The shuttle bus itself operated from 09.00 until 23.00, so if you want going back to hotel at late night better to use taxi.
The point: Royal View Hotel is one of the best 4-star hotels in Hong Kong. With reasonable price and good location, this hotel is recommended for your stay in Hong Kong.
